R.O.O.T. Webzine

Although R.evolution Of Our Time is a not-for-profit organization, and all members of the editorial team work for R.O.O.T. on a voluntary basis, the publication process should be taken seriously by everyone involved.

Considering the voluntary nature of the R.O.O.T. webzine, no one can force other team members to execute the tasks that were assigned to them, yet the entire editorial team is responsible for reminding other members of their individual duties, as the production of the webzine is a team effort.

WHY JOIN THE TEAM?

> Articles published in R.O.O.T. are preferably art-based articles about human behaviors or human rights related articles.

> R.O.O.T. webzine aims to cover a broad range of topics within the field of art, and to provide room for different points of view on each topic. The editorial team therefore invites everyone, students or professionals, enthusiasts or artists that are somehow involved in arts (music, paintings, comics, films, writings…) to submit papers, essays, columns, or other kinds of articles.

> R.O.O.T. strongly encourages discussion and debate among its readers. Readers with different opinions on topics that have been covered in previous contributions are invited to voice their opinions and positions by submitting articles to R.O.O.T. or by participating in the discussions on Twitter, by emails or by comments.

> R.O.O.T. tries not to present just one particular point of view on any topic.

Relevance:

R.O.O.T. aims to publish art-based articles about human behaviors and/or human rights related articles. Art topics can be about music, photographs, writings, films, drawings… and should be questionning every human facets involved. Relevance is not determined by an article’s level of expertise, i.e. whether the article’s topic is very specialist, but it is rather determined by way the author shares its personal feelings or opinions. This may include new knowledge, new insights, or new views on any topic within the arts field.

Features in R.O.O.T.:

R.O.O.T. has several regular features, though the following list is by no means an exhaustive one:

> Bands, authors, painters, artists… profiles/interviews
